The Associated Press reports on Iron Ox, a start-up in California founded by two former Google X engineers that has raised $6 million and is now ready to deliver robotically grown vegetables after two years of development. In New Zealand, a number of firms like RoboticsPlus and Compac are working on robots that can pick fruit and help automate other parts of the fruit and vegetable growing, picking, and distribution process.
