Digital Assistant start-up FaceMe has wrapped up a $10 million Series A raise, at a valuation of $50 million. The round was led by Alium Capital based out of Sydney, with other investors include Richard Socher, Ice Angels, NZVIF, and K1W1. With two local companies contesting this space (with Soul Machines raising $30 million in a Series B), it will be very interesting to see how the resources – not just in terms of investment but also human capital and marketing – gets distributed.
