We join our portfolio company Mekonos in congratulating Professor Carolyn Bertozzi, who was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry last week for her work in click chemistry with bioorthogonal reactions. Prof. Bertozzi has been a Scientific Advisor for Mekonos for several years, alongside Irv Weissman and Cassian Yee. She is also a co-inventor with the Mekonos founders on a patent. Her advice has been instrumental in Mekonos’ work on surface chemistry, and we look forward to seeing how Mekonos continues to grow and evolve!
