Victoria University of Wellington’s commercialisation arm, Viclink, has secured a $10m agreement with financial services company Booster. This will be huge for helping fuel early stage commercialisation of university research, particularly in the sciences where Vic has strengths. This is a big win for the ecosystem, and shows that there is confidence in New Zealand’s capabilities to produce world-beating science.
